Very different views of the San than I've typically been exposed to. Thanks for the history!

You're welcome, I'm curious what your previous experience with the San has been?

Excellent description for peeps who think there are races because of the Atlantic slave trade, there are more races in these populations than in the rest of the world put together, assuming 'races' are genetically different and do not measure some other factor such as slave owning itself. Owning slaves probably makes you stupid.

Great post! Incredibly interesting history in that region, which I didn’t know much about. Thanks you for enlightening us a little more.

If you're interested just in the archeology why do you ask about something else?

I'm not a white nationalist no, I'm probably closer to a 'RW anarchist' or a Nietzschean or something like that. I strive to be both as objective and realist as possible in my research and writing. As for intelligence differences - its possible, although I'm skeptical that anyone has done enough rigorous research on the remaining San to say anything meaningful. Compounding the problem is that hunter gatherers seem to inhabit an entirely different cognitive system to agriculturalists and modern urban populations, so I don't know how meaningful any measured distinction between a pastoralist and office worker really is.

". . . if he holds these views himself it may influence his writing."

In other words tendentious speculation based on an absence of knowledge. There seems to be a certain epistemological weakness in your hypothesis.

You read the writing. You don't need to try and dig up some 'guilt by association'. What does the piece say about itself and its author? Shame you are an anonacoward so nobody can apply your 'purity test' ideas to you.
